Have a question, found a bug, or want a format we don't compare yet? Use the form below. Messages go straight to the people who build the site, not into a ticket queue, and we read all of them. You'll usually hear back within a couple of days.

Reporting a bug

The reports we can act on fastest name the exact page (for example /compare-json rather than "the site"), describe the input roughly (two YAML files around 300 lines, a CSV with quoted commas), and say what you expected against what actually happened. If the diff itself looked wrong, a small sample that reproduces it helps more than a long description.

One caution: this form is ordinary email delivery, not the diff editor. The text you paste into the comparison tools never leaves your browser, but anything you type here is sent to us. If the input that triggered the bug is confidential, describe its shape instead of pasting it.

Requesting a feature or format

Several of the current tools exist because someone asked for them. If you need a comparison mode we don't have, or one of the existing ones almost fits but not quite, say what you're trying to do and what gets in the way. Real workflows shape the roadmap far more than our guesses do.

What happens to your message

Submissions are emailed to us and kept in a small database so we can follow up and keep automated spam out; the sender's IP is stored for rate limiting. Your email address is used to reply to you and for nothing else. No mailing lists, no sharing with anyone.
